At Earth Lodge, we do something different: we honour the crossing.

The Power of Being Witnessed
Across cultures and generations, rites of passage have helped people meet life’s turning points with clarity, confidence, and sacred support.
A Rite of Passage says:
- This moment matters.
- You are seen.
- You are supported as you step.
Without ceremony, change can feel chaotic, invisible, or unresolved. With it, we gain language, ritual, and community around the unknown. We are guided into the next phase of life with intention.
At Earth Lodge, we offer rites that are lived, felt, sacred—and infused with ceremonial alchemy.
They aren’t performances. They aren’t just symbolic. They are shaped by your story, your readiness, and the stage of life you’re in. Whether you are a child on the edge of adolescence, a parent navigating a major life shift, or an elder ready to be seen—we create space to mark the passage.

Ceremony in Community
Unlike a solo retreat or therapy session, Rites of Passage at Earth Lodge happen in a living village. Around the fire. In nature. With others.
Here, you are not alone in your transformation. You are part of a ceremonial web, woven with wisdom, laughter, tears, and belonging.
We begin with a Rites of Passage Shuffle—a tuning-in process guided by our ceremonial team to listen for what’s truly needed. From there, you may be invited into a rite—or supported to wait, watch, and witness.
All rites are optional. All are supported.
Some participants come knowing what they’re stepping into. Others arrive with only a sense that something is stirring. Both are welcome.
A Living Tradition
Our rites are inspired by the Sweet Medicine SunDance Path—a living tradition that honours the cycles of birth, growth, death, and rebirth. The ceremonies offered at Earth Lodge are shaped by this lineage, adapted to the community and age groups present each year.
Earth Lodge is where the teachings become lived experience.
